Bohemian Alps Endurance Runs
The Bohemian Alps Endurance Runs are a set of annual loop races held in and around Brainard, Nebraska. The event includes a 50K, a half marathon, a 4 mile run, and a kids mile. Courses use gravel and dirt roads, bike trail sections, and off-road cross country sections, with only limited pavement.

The 50K is described as a crew-friendly loop that starts and finishes in downtown Brainard and passes through rural Butler and Saunders counties. The half marathon and shorter races start and finish at 213 Madison Street in downtown Brainard. Water and aid stops are provided; the half marathon has aid every three to four miles. T-shirts are provided to all entrants; medals or ribbons are given to finishers per race. Post-race food and social arrangements are provided, and showers are available. The 50K notes no time limits, and free camping in Brainard and lodging in nearby towns are mentioned. Participants sign a waiver acknowledging the event risks and releasing organizers from liability.
