About the race
The Bohemian Alps Endurance Run takes place on October 24, 2026 in Brainard, NE, and is organized by Bohemian Alps. All races start and finish at 213 Madison Street in downtown Brainard. Registration closes on October 24, 2026, and race day registration is welcome.
Entry fees listed for each distance are available. The half marathon is the 43rd annual edition. The course is a scenic, hilly loop on gravel and dirt roads and includes about 1 mile of bike trail, 2 miles of off-road cross country terrain, and 1 mile of pavement. Water stops are placed approximately every 3 to 4 miles.
T-shirts are provided to all entrants and medals are awarded to all finishers. Showers are available after the event and a post race barbeque is offered for entrants. The published entry fee for the half marathon is $70. Additional distances include a 4 mile run and a kids mile.
The 4 mile course is scenic and hilly on gravel and dirt roads with about 1 mile of pavement; t-shirts and medals are provided and the fee is $60. The kids mile is on pavement; t-shirts and ribbons are provided and the fee is $25. Post race refreshments are provided for entrants at the conclusion of the events.
