Bohemian Alps 50K
The Bohemian Alps 50K is the 32nd annual ultramarathon near Brainard, Nebraska. The course covers about 33 miles on rolling hills, using mainly gravel and dirt roads through Butler and Saunders counties. The route includes some bike trail and some cross country sections, with very little pavement.
The event uses a crew friendly loop that starts and finishes at a private residence in downtown Brainard. Water and aid stops are provided at intervals. There are no time limits. Entrants receive long sleeve shirts and finishers receive an award. A post-race food and drink social follows the run. Lodging is available in nearby towns and free camping is offered in Brainard.
