Bohemian Alps Endurance Run
The event in Brainard, NE, organized by Bohemian Alps, includes a half marathon, a 4 mile run, and a kids mile. The half marathon is noted as the 43rd annual running of that distance.
Distances and simple course notes:
- Half Marathon: scenic hilly loop on gravel and dirt with bike trail and off-road sections.
- 4 Mile Run: scenic hilly course on gravel and dirt roads, plus one mile pavement.
- Kids Mile: one mile of pavement with shirts to entrants and ribbons for finishers.
Course amenities and services include water stops approximately every 3 to 4 miles on the half marathon, T-shirts for entrants of each event, medals for finishers of the half and 4 mile, and ribbons for kids. A post race barbeque is provided for race entrants after the adult races and post race popsicles are provided after the kids mile. Showers are available. Start and finish for each event are at 213 Madison Street in downtown Brainard. Entry fees listed are $70 for the half marathon, $60 for the 4 mile run, and $25 for the kids mile.
