Bohemian Alps 50K

The Bohemian Alps 50K is the 32nd annual ultramarathon held in Brainard, NE on October 24, 2026. The main distance is roughly 33 miles, described as rolling hills over mostly gravel and dirt roads with some bike trail and cross country sections and very little pavement.

The race follows a crew friendly loop course that starts and finishes at a house in downtown Brainard. Water and aid stops are provided at intervals along the route. There are no official time limits for completing the course.

All entrants receive long sleeve shirts and finishers receive an award. A post race food and drink social is part of the event. Lodging is available in nearby towns and free camping is available in Brainard.

Registration for the event closes on Tuesday, October 20 at 11:59 PM CT. Participants are required to sign a waiver acknowledging the hazardous nature of the run and accepting responsibility for their attempt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
