Race features and logistics
Timed events use chip timing with live results and awards. Packet pickup is available on race day; participants who need to switch to the virtual option must notify the organizer before the event or pick up items at packet pickup; unnotified items may not be available. Virtual participants receive a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and mailed packet; mailed packets ship the Wednesday after the race and participants may upload times and photos to the event pages.
Swag and entry inclusions are listed by event: a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal are provided for the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K; the 1 Mile is untimed and includes a custom bib, shirt, and medal; the Kids Dash (ages 10 and under) includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a kid-specific medal. Register by the deadline two weeks before race day to guarantee shirt and size.
Course materials include 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon course maps (half marathon shown as two laps) and an interactive map. The course is subject to change due to permits or restrictions. The organizer has a no-refund policy; events proceed in varied weather unless the venue requires cancellation or there are ice hazards, in which case entries may be transferred to the virtual event.
Additional on-site features include a costume contest, trick-or-treat aid stations, photo opportunities, a live DJ, finisher medals for participants, and a post-race celebration with food and drinks. Age-group awards are offered for 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon events across overall, masters (40+), and multiple standard age brackets; the Kids Dash, 1 Mile, and Virtual events are untimed and do not qualify for age-group awards.
