Event overview
The Boddington 10 is a UK Athletics licensed 10-mile road race organised by CLC Striders on 25 January 2026. Entries have sold out and a waiting list is operating. The event is part of the 2026 Gloucestershire Road Race Series and carries UKA licence number 30107. Chip timing is used for results.
Course and rules
The course is an officially measured, flat four-lap route that starts at the top of Boddington Lane, heads towards Boddington and Barrow, and finishes back on Boddington Lane outside the premises of Robert Hitchins Ltd. There is a short 200 m out-and-back section on the first lap only. Roads are not closed for the race, so runners must keep to the left and follow marshal and signage instructions. Personal listening devices are prohibited, except UKA-approved bone-conducting devices. Entrants must be at least 18 years old on 25/01/2026. A 2-hour overall cut-off applies for the 10-mile distance; runners not on pace by the 7.4-mile point will be asked to withdraw.
Logistics and prizes
Race HQ is at The Gloucester Old Spot, GL51 9SY. Parking is limited across three car parks and marshals will direct drivers; some parking may require a walk up to 500 m. Toilets and portaloos are provided; baggage drop is available but unsupervised. Prizes include vouchers for the first three men and women, age-category prizes in five-year vet groups from LV35 and MV40 upward, a team prize for a 2-men/2-women UKA-affiliated club, and a post-race free drink. Official race photos will be provided. Entry fees were listed as £20 (affiliated) and £22 (non-affiliated) plus a processing charge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
