Event overview
The Boddington 10 is a 10-mile road race organised by CLC Striders Running Club on 25 January 2026 in Cheltenham. The event is officially measured and UKA-licenced (race licence number 30107) and is a confirmed fixture in the 2026 Gloucestershire Road Race Series. Race headquarters is at The Gloucester Old Spot, Tewkesbury Road, Piffs Elm, Cheltenham GL51 9SY. Parking is provided nearby and Race HQ is used for number collection and post-race presentation.
Course, entry and prizes
The course is described as flat and fast and is run as a four-lap loop that starts on Boddington Lane, passes through Boddington and Barrow, and finishes on Boddington Lane outside the premises of Robert Hitchins Ltd. The entire route is signed and marshaled; road closures have not been applied for, so runners are required to keep well to the left. Chip timing is provided by LuSH Race Timing. Entry is open to entrants aged 18 or over on 25 January 2026. Online fees are £20 for UKA-affiliated runners and £22 for non-affiliated runners, plus a 4% processing charge. Total places are 250 and a waiting list will operate if the race is full. Prizes include vouchers for the first three men and women, age-category prizes in five-year veteran bands from LV35 and MV40 upwards, a team prize for the best-placed UKA-affiliated club of two men and two women, and a course-record bonus. Free race photos and a post-race drink are provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
