Blackstrap Trail Race
The event takes place on October 4, 2026, at Blackstrap Provincial Park near Dundurn, Saskatchewan. Organized by the Saskatoon Road Runners, the race uses off-road trails on the forested valley walls below Mount Blackstrap and combines wider cross-country ski trails with single track.

This is a green, no frills event: no T-shirts or medals are provided. Registration was capped at 80 participants and is now closed. The published entry fee was CA$15.00 plus taxes and a Race Roster administration fee; no refunds are offered. Members of the Saskatoon Road Runner Association receive a CA$5.00 discount. No awards will be given; instead five special draw prizes will be awarded.
A traditional wiener roast lunch follows the run. Official results, including age class and Masters subdivisions, will be posted on the organizer’s website later in the day after the event.
Access note: Blackstrap Provincial Park is approximately 50 km south of Saskatoon. From Saskatoon follow Highway 11 south to Dundurn, turn east onto Highway 211 to Blackstrap Lake, cross the causeway, then turn south to the park entrance kiosk; the trailhead parking lot is the first left about 2 km past the kiosk. A provincial park pass or daily permit is recommended. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
