About the race
The Saskatoon Road Runners present the Blackstrap Trail Race at Blackstrap Provincial Park in Dundurn, Saskatchewan. The course runs on a mix of wider cross-country ski trails and single-track through forested valley slopes below Mount Blackstrap.

The event is described as a green, no frills race. No T-shirts or medals are provided. Registration is capped at 80 participants and will close when the cap is reached. Entry fee is listed as $15.00 plus taxes and Race Roster administration fees; category registration prices are shown as CA$18.43. No refunds. Saskatoon Road Runner Association members receive a $5.00 discount.
There are age-based race categories including for younger runners and Masters divisions. No awards are given; instead five draw prizes will be offered. A traditional wiener roast lunch follows the run. Official results including age classes and Masters subdivisions will be posted on the event website later in the day.
Directions note that Blackstrap Provincial Park is about 50 km south of Saskatoon, with route guidance via Highway 11 to Dundurn and Highway 211 to the park; a provincial park pass or daily permit is recommended to enter. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
