Blackstrap Trail Race
The Saskatoon Road Runners present the Blackstrap Trail Race at Blackstrap Provincial Park near Dundurn, Saskatchewan, Canada. The course runs along the forested valley walls below Mount Blackstrap and combines wider cross-country ski trails with single track. The event offers approximate distances of 5 km and 10 km, with age-based categories for youth, open and masters.
This is a green, no-frills event: no T-shirts and no medals are offered and there will be no official awards. Instead five special draw prizes will be given. A traditional wiener roast lunch follows the run. Official results, including age class and masters subdivisions, will be posted later the day following the event.
Registration is capped at 80 participants and will close if the cap is reached. Entry fee is $15.00 per runner plus taxes and Race Roster administration fee; no refunds are offered. Members of the Saskatoon Road Runner Association receive a $5.00 discount.
