Blackberry Festival 5K
The Blackberry Festival 5K takes place on July 4, 2026, in downtown Carlisle, Kentucky, with the meeting area at the Nicholas County Courthouse, 368 East Main Street.
- 3.1 Miles in-person 5K run/walk
- 50 Yards Fastest Kid in Town for children 12 and under
- 3.1 Miles virtual runner/walker
The in-person 5K is chip timed and held on paved road surfaces. Participants receive a commemorative race T-shirt while supplies last. Awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers and to top finishers in age-group categories. Free race photos will be available. Packet pickup will take place on race morning in downtown Carlisle.
The Fastest Kid in Town race is open to children 12 and under, is free to enter, and includes age-group run-offs followed by a final. Young participants receive a participation medal and may choose a commemorative shirt for an additional fee.
The virtual runner/walker option lets participants complete a 3.1 mile course remotely; virtual registration includes a commemorative T-shirt.
