Bishampton Autumn Duathlon
Organized by the Worcester Triathlon Club, the Bishampton Autumn Duathlon takes place in the Worcestershire Lenches. The event is based at Rise + Grind in Bishampton, Pershore. It offers two different distance options for participants, including individual and team entries for two or three people.
The event features the following distances:
- Standard: 6 km run, 28 km bike, and 3 km run (minimum age 17).
- Short: 3 km run, 14 km bike, and 3 km run (minimum age 15).
The run course is conducted on tarmac and is described as flat. It follows a 3 km out-and-back route. For the standard distance, the first run leg consists of two laps, while the short distance involves one lap. Both categories complete a final 3 km run after the cycling leg.
The cycling portion uses quiet rural lanes and follows an anti-clockwise circuit. Participants in the short distance complete one loop of 14 km, while standard distance participants complete two loops.
Participants receive a finisher's medal and a gift. The event supports St Richard's Hospice, with a portion of the entry fees donated to the charity. Registration is open to both British Triathlon members and non-members, with the latter required to obtain a race pass. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
