Bimbo Global Race presented by Dempster's
The Bimbo Global Race takes place on October 4, 2026 at Ashbridges Bay Boat Launch, 1561 Lake Shore Blvd E, Toronto, ON. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation and combines running with food bank fundraising.
Distances offered:
- 3K walk/run - open to families and walking groups
- 5K timed race - shorter timed distance for casual and competitive runners
- 10K timed race - for participants seeking a longer distance
- Virtual options for 3K, 5K and 10K are available
In-person registration includes a race kit (t-shirt, race bib), a swag bag, a post-race lunch featuring Dempster's products, and the official 2026 Bimbo Global Race medal. These items are exclusive to in-person participants. Participants 16 and under receive free registration but must still register.
Organizers will donate 20 slices of bread for every in-person participant to Canadian food banks. North York Harvest Food Bank will be on-site to collect non-perishable items toward a 100,000 lb goal. Course maps currently show the 2025 route and are being updated due to construction.
Water and first aid stations are located approximately every 2 kilometres and near the start/finish area. Portable washrooms and public facilities are available. Complimentary baggage check is provided; bags are tagged with bib numbers and must be claimed with the race bib. Parking at the Green P lot is available but extremely limited and costs are not covered; public transit directions are provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
