Bimbo Global Race
The Bimbo Global Race presented by Dempster's takes place on October 4, 2026 at Ashbridges Bay Boat Launch, 1561 Lake Shore Blvd E, Toronto, ON. The event runs both in-person and virtual participation options.
In-person distances:
- 3 km walk/run, open to families and walking groups
- 5 km timed race, open to all participants
- 10 km timed race, for participants seeking a longer distance
Virtual options are available for the same distances. Virtual registrants are not eligible for race packets and prize eligibility for the 10K is reserved for in-person participants.
In-person registration includes a race kit (t-shirt, bib), a swag bag, a post-race lunch featuring Dempster's products, and the official 2026 Bimbo Global Race medal. Race packets are available for pick-up on event day and advance pick-up details will be provided later. Participants 16 and under register for free but must still complete registration.
A complimentary baggage check is offered; participants are advised not to leave valuables as the organizer is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Water and first aid stations will be located approximately every 2 kilometers and near the start and finish. Portable and public washrooms are available at Ashbridges Bay Park.
Parking at the Green P lot on Ashbridges Bay Park Rd is available but extremely limited and parking fees are not covered. Public transit directions to the park are provided. Dogs are allowed during the 3 km walk but must be leashed. Strollers are permitted. The North York Harvest Food Bank will collect non perishable items on site and the event aims to support food banks by donating 20 slices of bread for every in-person participant.
