Bilstein-Marathon
The Bilstein-Marathon is a trail running event in the Kaufunger Wald region around the Bilstein in the heart of Germany. The event combines multiple race formats including ultratrail, marathon and half marathon and takes place on 10 April 2027 as the fifteenth edition.
The terrain is explicitly not flat and includes marked elevation changes and scenic viewpoints. The organiser notes substantial height meters on the course and provides route marking so participants can follow the tracks without getting lost. The event keeps the overall field small: total entries are limited to 650 to preserve a familiar atmosphere.
