Bigfoot Classic - Corpus Christi
The Bigfoot Classic takes place at Heritage Park in Corpus Christi, Texas on 01/10/2027. The event offers multiple in-person race distances and a virtual option, plus family and volunteer opportunities.
Race distances include:
- Kids Dash, about 50 meters, for ages 10 and under
- 1 Mile
- 5K (3.11 miles)
- Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Volunteer then Run 5K (3.11 miles)
- Virtual Run (9.33 miles)
All finishers receive a medal and a shirt. Packet pickup is available 1.5 hours before the start; shirts are guaranteed only for registrations completed at least 10 days before the event. The 5K events use chip timing and some volunteer options include a custom chip timed bib. Aid stations are placed on course to provide water and assistance. Course surfaces may include paved trails, crushed granite, and dirt paths.
A crowd-voted Legendary Beast Costume Contest names one winner who receives the Legendary Beast Trophy, a Bigfoot prize pack, and a free entry to a future Bigfoot Classic. Awards for timed races include overall trophies and standard age-group recognitions across multiple age brackets, with special recognition for masters 40 and older.
Volunteer roles and benefits are listed for water stations, course monitors, finish line help, packet pickup, lead bike, mascot, and other tasks; full race volunteers earn a race shirt, VIP access, and a free future race entry or a $20 prepaid gift card.
