Event Overview
The Bigfoot Half Marathon & 5k is a road running event that takes place in Estes Park, Colorado, as part of the Bigfoot Days Festival. The finish line for both distances is located in downtown Bond Park. The event is noted for its scenic views just outside Rocky Mountain National Park, including the Continental Divide.
Distances and Course
The event offers two distances:

The course is a road route. The half marathon involves 1,050 feet of vertical gain, with an elevation of approximately 7,522 feet.
Event Details
Three aid stations are provided along the half marathon route. They offer water, Tailwind, snacks, basic first aid, and a portable toilet. The event is cupless, meaning participants are expected to bring their own reusable cup or can purchase one at check-in.
The finish area in Bond Park is part of the Bigfoot Days Festival, which includes live music and numerous vendors. A complimentary beer from Lumpy Ridge Brewing is provided to participants after the race. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Registration and Participant Perks
Registration is tiered, with price increases on specific dates. Discount codes are available for certain groups, including Estes Valley students, teachers, first responders, and military personnel. All participants receive a comfy hoodie. Half marathon finishers receive wool socks and a finisher medal. The 5k includes a costume run element with prizes for the best adult and kids' costumes.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup is available the day before the race at the Estes Park Mountain Shop. Separate pickup is available on race morning for each distance at different locations: at the Estes Park Events Complex for the half marathon and at Bond Park for the 5k.
