BOSS Summer Run
The BOSS Summer Run is an annual athletic event held in West Liberty, Ohio. The event takes place at Lions Park and features courses that transition through the rolling countryside of the local area. Participants can choose between two main distances:
- 5 km race
- 1 mile Fun Run for children aged 10 and under
The 5 km course both starts and finishes within the grounds of Lions Park. All participants receive race medals for completing their respective distances. The organizers provide prizes for the top three male and female finishers overall. Additionally, male and female winners within specific age groups are awarded gift certificates from the Big Orange Shoe Shop.
Following the conclusion of the races, the West Liberty Lions Club hosts a pancake breakfast on-site. There are also door prizes available for those in attendance. Registration is open to the public with tiered pricing based on the date of entry, and race day registration is also permitted. All proceeds from the event are directed toward supporting the West Liberty-Salem Big Orange Cross Country program. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
