Big Brothers Big Sisters Glow Run
This community evening event takes place in August 2026 at Finnup Park in Garden City, Kansas, and is organized by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Finney & Kearny Counties. Multiple distances are offered to accommodate different participant preferences.

Registration opens June 25, 2026 and closes August 23, 2026. Registration fees listed for the races are $40 for the 10K and 5K, and $30 for the 1-mile fun run/walk. Each paid registration includes a race t-shirt; registrations after August 15 may not receive shirts until after the event.
Awards are presented for first, second, and third place in each race. The event will also feature prizes, music, and glow-in-the-dark elements aimed at creating a visible evening atmosphere.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Finney & Kearny Counties provides supervised mentors for vulnerable youth. In the prior year the organization reported 212 mentor-child matches, 51 participants completing the Young Women of Purpose Program, and 97 youth participating in the free Summer Playground Program.
