Big Backyard 5K & 10K
The Big Backyard 5K & 10K is an annual fun run and family walk held on June 7, 2026, at Marymoor Park in Redmond, Washington. The event celebrates King County Parks located throughout local neighborhoods, cities, and the county.
Proceeds from the event benefit King County Parks and support maintenance, facility operations, and recreational resources to keep parks operating and open year-round. The event was founded in 2010.
Since the event's inception, more than 13,000 participants have taken part and the event has raised over $80,000 for King County Parks.
The event program includes multiple distances:
- 10 km 10K Run/Walk. Fee $33.00
- 5 km 5K Run/Walk. Fee $28.00
- 1 km 1K Kids Run. Fee $15.00
