About the race
IMOS Beskydská sedmička is an ultratrail event held in the Beskydy mountains between Třinec and Frenštát pod Radhoštěm on 27 to 29 August 2027. The race follows a continuous mountain route with a measured length of 100.5 km and total ascent of 5 450 m, and it is conducted with a 28 hour time limit. The event offers competition for individual runners and for two-person relay teams.
The race starts in Třinec at the Atletický stadion (STARS area) and finishes in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm at náměstí Míru. Accreditation for participants takes place in Třinec at the sport hall STARS. Organizers provide free basic accommodation in designated spaces in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm (ZŠ Tyršova), where athletes must use their own sleeping equipment.
Age categories are defined by the runner's age on race day, with ranges beginning at 18–24 and continuing in typical decade bands up to over 75; separate categories are maintained for men and women. Entry fees are specified as a pre-registration fee of 49 Kč and a standard entry fee of 3 490 Kč. During the route organizers supply hot food items at several locations, including two servings of soup and one serving of sausages, plus additional refreshment stations along the course.
