Berneray 10K Road & Cross-Country Race

The Berneray 10K Road & Cross-Country Race takes place on the Isle of Berneray in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland, as part of the annual Berneray Week festivities. This friendly and intimate race features a scenic circular course starting and finishing at Berneray Community Hall. The route combines single-track tarmac roads, gravel, and grass tracks, passing Loch Bhrusda and the Berneray machair, with two gentle hills.

A unique highlight is a stretch over a sandy beach exposed at low tide, offering stunning sea views across the Minch and towards Lewis and Harris. Trophies are awarded in various veteran categories, and all finishers receive medals and refreshments. Walkers are welcome to join early.
