About the race
adidas Runners City Night is a night running and inlineskating event on the Kurfürstendamm in Berlin City West. The event date listed is 31 July 2027. It is organized by SCC EVENTS and sponsored by adidas, and is held under the rules of the German Athletics Association (DLV) with supervision by the Berlin Athletics Association (BLV).
Distances and disciplines offered:
- 5 km run
- 10 km run
- 10 km inlineskating
- 10 km double start (10 km skating then 10 km running)
Start and finish are located on the Kurfürstendamm near the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche and the routes run through the City West. The course includes live bands, cheering zones and spectator areas. The finish line is illuminated and all finishers receive a medal that glows in the dark; a personalized medal engraving is available as an extra.
Practical information from the event guide: the start number is personal and must be worn visibly on the chest; the timing transponder is attached to the back of the bib and must not be bent or damaged. Time limits are 45 minutes for skaters and 1 hour 30 minutes for runners from crossing the start line. A bag drop is available for 5 € if booked during registration. Changing disciplines is possible for a fee and price difference. Transfers of start places are not allowed and participation fees are non refundable.
