Dragon Mile
The Dragon Mile is a street running event in Bendigo organised by the Bendigo Harriers Athletics Club. The next Sandeman Build Dragon Mile is scheduled for Easter Sunday 2027. The race is run through the main streets of Bendigo, starting in Pall Mall, and crowds of around 20,000 line the route.
The event plays a part in the Easter Parade and has a history of attracting notable athletes. It includes multiple race categories for children, secondary students and open age groups. Males and females compete together in most races; the Mini Mile separates boys and girls.

- Mini Mile - Girls grade 4 and under
- Mini Mile - Boys grade 4 and under
- Primary School - Grades 5 and 6
- Secondary School - Years 7 and 8
- Secondary School - Years 9 and 10
- Secondary School - Years 11 and 12
- Open and masters - Open, 40+, 50+
Results and lists of past winners are maintained for recent years. The 2026 sponsor is Sandeman Build and the local athletics club coordinates the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
