Belmont and Little Sugar Loaf
The event is a set of mountain runs based at Belmont Demesne in County Wicklow. The courses use forest and field trails around the Little Sugar Loaf, including a rocky summit section and an MTB track finish. The long route crosses narrow and wider trails and includes technical rocky ground on the summit. The route is fully marked and GPS devices are allowed.

Long and short courses require online entry and on site registration before the race. The 1 km Belmont Challenge is free, does not require online entry, and participants are responsible for their own safety as it is not covered by IMRA insurance. Children must be supervised for the 1 km event. Entry fees are listed as €7 for seniors and €5 for over 65s and under 18s. Entries open Monday 3rd August 2026 and close Wednesday 5th August 2026. The event capacity is 250 places.
Mandatory kit level B includes a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, charged mobile phone with emergency number, and a foil blanket or bivvy bag. Failure to carry required kit may lead to denial of entry or disqualification. There is a prizegiving at Belmont Demesne Café and a small event bar operating in the café area.
