Beer & Bagel NE. - 2026
Beer & Bagel NE. is an off-road running event on October 25, 2026, at Mahoney State Park Road in Ashland, Nebraska. The event offers loop-based runs on grassy areas and natural trails at the park. The course uses unpaved, rugged trails and may include wet or muddy sections.

- 4-mile(ish) run (1 loop)
- 12-mile(ish) run (3 loops)
The two races use the same location and trails, with the course layout arranged so both events aim to finish at around the same time. For 2026 there will be NO SQUATCHY event. A post-race party at the same site includes beer and bagels, music, games, and awards.
The registration package includes entry into a USATF sanctioned, professionally timed event, age group awards, a souvenir race bib, and a long-sleeve tech race shirt printed with event slogans. Additional items listed for registered runners include a finisher award, local brews, free bagel and chili, free parking, tailgating games before and after the run, and race photos with Sasquatch. A companion pass admits a guest to food and drink offerings and other served items but does not include a shirt; registered runners do not need a companion pass for themselves.
