Beer & Bagel NE - Event details
Beer & Bagel NE is an off-road running event at Mahoney State Park Road in Ashland, Nebraska on October 25, 2026. The event offers two separate races that use the same grassy areas and trails: a longer looped course and a shorter single loop. The 12-mile course is three loops and the 4-mile course is one loop; the schedule is arranged so both races aim to finish near the same time. For 2026 there is no Squatchy event.
Distances:
- about 4 miles (one loop)
- about 12 miles (three loops)
The event is USATF sanctioned and professionally timed. The registration package includes a souvenir race bib, age group awards, a finishers award, and a long-sleeve unisex tech race shirt printed with event slogans; shirts are available in sizes XS to XXL and sizes may be limited for registrations within two weeks of the race. Amenities listed for participants include local brews, free bagel and chili, free parking, tailgating games, and race photos featuring Sasquatch.
A companion pass allows a guest entry for beer, bagels and other served items but does not include a shirt; registered runners do not need a companion pass for themselves. Group registration opens on July 1, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
