Beaverfoot Trail Run : Beavers Bend State Park, Broken Bow OK
Beaverfoot offers two trail distances through the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains in Beavers Bend State Park near Broken Bow OK on Nov 21, 2026. Courses run on rocky, rooty, dirt single track trails and use named sections including Beaver Creek, Lookout Mountain, Deer Crossing, and Skyline.

The event features significant elevation gain: 2500+ ft for the 11 Miler and over 5000+ ft for the 22 Miler. Aid and hydration are available at multiple points: the main aid station is at the start and finish area; Beavers Hydration Station, Dogwood Aid Station, and Dam Hydration Station serve specific mile markers for each distance. Aid stations provide hot and cold foods, snacks, water, electrolytes, pickle juice, and ice. Hydration stations offer water, electrolytes, and ice.
Required and recommended equipment is specified: a headlamp is required for dark hours of both distances, a cellphone is required due to the remote area, and a water carrying system is required with 32 oz recommended. Trekking poles are suggested. The 11 Miler uses a shuttle from the main event area to a special start line; 11 Miler entrants may also drive to that start location. The 22 Miler does not use a shuttle. A 10 hour time limit applies to all events. Historic average temperatures range about 37 to 63 degrees. Awards include long sleeve shirts and finisher medals.
