Beaver Flat 50 : event overview
The Beaver Flat 50 is a trail race held on September 12, 2026. The course distance is 50 kilometers with 2255 metres of vertical ascent. The route follows very narrow animal trails and is described as rocky and sandy, with vegetation such as juniper and cacti and occasional water crossings. Reported surface hazards include wet shoes, ankle strain, scratched shins and possible encounters with snakes.

- Home Before Dark - 6 km (cumulative 49.5 km), 297 m elevation
Aid stations and cutoffs are listed for the course: Barlow (11 km, no cut-off), Windsor Knot (16 km, 11:30 am cut-off), Wheatman (23 km, 1:00 pm cut-off), Goodwin House (33 km, drop bag available, 3:30 pm cut-off; last logical place to drop), and Knock Knock Joke (43.5 km, 5:30 pm cut-off).
