Beaver Canyon Half Marathon and 10K
The event on June 26, 2027 in Beaver, Utah offers two paved downhill road races that follow Highway 153 through Beaver Canyon and finish at the Canyon Breeze Golf Course just outside town. The courses do not run through town and are described as continuous downhill routes.
Distances offered
- Half marathon (13.1 miles) with an elevation drop of 2,370 feet.
- 10K (6.2 miles) with an elevation drop of 760 feet.
Both races provide multiple aid stations along the course and at the finish. Medical support including EMTs and Search and Rescue will be available at the start area, on course, and at the finish. Transportation to the start is provided by buses from the Canyon Breeze race track area. Participants receive a bag for warm-up clothing at packet pickup and may leave that bag to be collected at the finish.
Operational details include a four hour course cut off, a packet pickup at the Beaver City office on the Friday before the race, and no refunds except in the case of full race cancellation; the half marathon allows a one year deferral. Race rules prohibit non-registered participants and personal support vehicles on the course; strollers are permitted only with prior approval. Age division awards follow USATF five year groups.
