Bear Valley Triathlon
The Bear Valley Triathlon takes place in Bear Valley, CA on Sep 6, 2026. The event features swim, bike and run segments over measured courses in a Sierra setting.
Distances:
- 600 yd swim
- 10.5 mile bike
- 3.4 mile run
Water temperature is expected to be roughly 70+ degrees; wetsuits are allowed but not necessary. Air temperature is expected to be 70+ degrees. The bike course is a rolling, climbing three-loop route. The run is a one-loop rolling road. Water will be available on the run.
Entry fees are stated as Individual $95 and Relay Team $240, with higher race day fees of Individual $100 and Relay Team $260. Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Entry fees include a custom t-shirt, post race lunch including beer, a raffle that requires presence to win, and an award ceremony. Post race lunch is available to non-runners for a fee of $12.
Race packets are not mailed and are available for pick-up race morning at the event site beginning at 8:30am. Awards include overall male and female and masters categories, with medals to the top three in age groups 18 & under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 plus.
