Bear Tracks 5K and 1 Mile Bear Attack - West Branch, IA
The event takes place Saturday, June 13, 2026, in West Branch, Iowa at Heritage Square in downtown West Branch. It includes two distances and a separate entry for high school track and cross-country runners.

Online registration lists the following standard fees: $35 for the 5K, $25 for the 1 mile, and a $30 rate for high school track and cross-country runners. Regular online registration is available through June 11, with an additional late-registration window in mid-June. Register by June 3 to guarantee a shirt. Race-day registration will also be available, with T-shirt availability not guaranteed for day-of registrants.
Awards will be given as prizes to the first place male and female runner in each age category: 14 years and under; 15-24; 25-39; 40-59; and 60 and above. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
