Bear River Trail Race
The Bear River Trail Race is a trail running event on July 11, 2026, in Evanston, Wyoming, based at Bear Meadows Park. The courses combine the Bear River greenway with trails in Bear River State Park and the Rio Oso Trails, moving through lush river bottoms and onto nearby bluffs and plains.
The routes offer river views and wildlife viewing opportunities, including elk and bison; the course notes mention the possibility of seeing a white bison. Trails are described as well groomed with minimal elevation gain on the shorter route and greater vertical sections on the longer courses. Aid stations are placed along the course. All finishers receive a T-shirt and a finisher award. Walkers are welcome on the advertised distances.
