Bear River Backyard Ultra - Delmar, IA (November 13, 2026)
The Bear River Backyard Ultra is a Last Man or Woman Standing format held on Tubbs Farm behind The 61 Drive-in Movie Theater in Delmar, Iowa. Competitors complete a 4.16-mile loop every hour, on the hour, until only one participant remains.
Each registered participant receives a 10 by 10 foot camp space to use as a personal aid station. Participants may bring one to three crew members to assist during the event. All registered runners receive a custom Bear River Backyard Ultra hockey sweater at packet pickup.
The top male and top female finishers receive cash prizes; prize amounts are determined by total registration numbers. Registration costs $200 and is capped at 250 participants. Food and beverages are provided during the event; participants may bring additional supplies or nutrition as needed.
