Be My Valentine 5K Run/Walk : 16th Annual
The Be My Valentine 5K Run/Walk is a themed 5 kilometer event held on February 14, 2027 at McAllister Park, Pavilion #2 (13298 Buckhorn Rd, San Antonio, TX 78247). The event format is a run/walk with chip timing and customized bib numbers. Participants receive an official finisher medal and a sweatshirt for 2027, details forthcoming.
The event features a Cupid costume contest with cash prizes for the best costume, on-course music, and additional finish-line surprises. A special "Just The Two Of Us" division combines the times of two-person teams and awards first place in three categories: Los Enamorados (one male and one female), Las Sole Sisters (two females), and The Heartbreakers (two males). Individual awards include overall male and female winners and masters, plus 10-year age group awards for first through third place in these brackets (1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+).
Age group awards are determined by chip time while overall awards are determined by gun time. No duplication of awards is allowed. Race fees are listed for the 5K as $35, increasing to $40 on September 1 and $45 on race day. The event policy states there are no refunds.
