Event Overview
The Be Kind To Your Mind 5k Run and Walk takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in downtown Jesup, Georgia. The event features two distances:
- 5k Run and Walk
- One Mile Run and Walk
The race will start from the Jesup Train Depot, located at 101 East Cherry Street. Packet pickup is available on May 9 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Train Depot, and also on the morning of the race.
Course & Location
The event uses a new route through the historic streets of downtown Jesup, offering city views. The start and finish area is at the Jesup Train Depot.
Purpose & Charity
The event is held in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month. Its purpose is to unite the community and highlight that recovery is real. One hundred percent of proceeds from registration and donations will directly fund mental health services, substance abuse counseling, and homeless transition support for the uninsured in Wayne County through the nonprofit Anchored.
