Bayou Bash Relay at TC Jester Park
The Bayou Bash Relay takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at TC Jester Park (4201 TC Jester Blvd, Houston, TX). The event is a four person relay composed of four legs of two miles each run on a single loop. The course uses paved and crushed granite trails within the park.
Entry fees are stated per team and are non refundable. Fees listed include a pre race fee with a HARRA discount, an on race day fee without discount, and a reduced rate for junior teams aged 18 and under. Teams register online through the event organizer. Only teams in which all members hold current HARRA membership and belong to the same run club count toward HARRA club and team competitions.
Awards are presented to the top three finishing teams in each division. Divisions include Open, Open Mixed, Masters, Masters Mixed, Senior, Veteran, Ultra Vet, Uber Vet, and Juniors; the youngest team member determines the team category.
Relay rules note that each runner may run only one leg for a single team, runners should run in bib order A, B, C, D, and the fourth leg runner must wear the D bib or carry the chip. The race director or race officials may disqualify participants for rule violations. The relay is followed immediately by a HARRA member appreciation family picnic that is free to race participants and HARRA members and their families, with meat and vegetarian food options, beverages, and beer.
