Barnes Drug Store 5K Fun Run & Splash Dash
The 18th Annual Barnes Drug Store 5K Fun Run & Splash Dash will take place on July 18, 2026 in Valdosta, Georgia, with start/finish at Barnes Drug Store, 200 South Patterson Street, Valdosta, GA 31601. The event is organized as a community fundraising run.
All proceeds and donations for 2026 will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000, and the total funds raised and matched will benefit Sandy's House. Sandy's House operates a 12 month residential faith based program for women ages 18 and older who are suffering from addiction. The program opened on March 21, 2022 and provides housing, education, and spiritual training.
Since 2009 Barnes Drug Store has raised and donated over $1 million for the community through the annual 5K. In 2025, Barnes Drug Store and community partners raised over $600,000 for Evans Memorial Camp; funds and proceeds from the 2025 race were matched and donated to that camp. Event listings show a standard entry fee of $35; an early-registration rate of $30 before June 30 included a t-shirt, while registrations after June 30 did not include a t-shirt.
