Event Overview
The Barclays Knutsford 10K is a licensed UK Athletics race held on a single, flat route of 10 km.
Location & Course
The race starts and finishes within the grounds of the Barclays Radbroke campus (postcode WA16 9EU) near Knutsford. The course heads out onto scenic country lanes around Over Peover, Snelson, and Peover Heath before returning. The entire route is closed to traffic and features only 23 metres of total elevation.
Event Logistics
Participants are provided with chip timing, kilometer markers, a bespoke finisher medal, a post-race snack, and access to toilets. Pacers will be present for finish times from 35 to 80 minutes in 2.5-minute intervals. A drinks station is located at the halfway point and at the finish. A free bag drop service and free on-site parking are available. Results are available immediately via Nifty Entries.
Entry & Rules
Entry costs £28 for club-affiliated runners and £30 for non-club runners. The minimum age for participation is 15. Entries close when the participant limit is reached or at midnight on the day before the race; no entries are available on race day. Participants can transfer their entry to another person or to a virtual race option.
Additional Information
The event supports the Young Minds charity. Runners are encouraged to bring their own pre-filled water bottle to reduce waste, though bottled water will also be provided. The organisers will guide runners still on the course to the finish line after 1 hour and 30 minutes, as roads reopen at that time for local access.
