The Barclays Knutsford 10K is a UKA-licensed road race held on Sunday 27 September 2026 at the Barclays Radbroke campus in Knutsford (postcode WA16 9EU). The event distance is 10 kilometres. Race headquarters and parking are located within the Radbroke campus, which includes Radbroke Hall and surrounding grounds.
Course and race services
The route starts and finishes at Radbroke and runs on country lanes through Over Peover, Snelson and Peover Heath. All race roads will be fully closed to traffic for the event. The course has 23 metres of elevation across the entire route. Chip timing is used and pacers are provided for times from 35 to 80 minutes, spaced every 2.5 minutes. KM markers, a drinks station at the halfway point and finish, first aid, toilets, bag drop and free baggage storage are available. Finishers receive a bespoke medal; an optional commemorative technical finishers t-shirt and a post-race snack are offered.
Entries, prizes and logistics
Entry fees are listed as £28 for club runners and £30 for non-club runners. Minimum age for road race entry is 15 years. Presentations for the top three male and female finishers are based on gun times; veteran prizes are sent by post and based on chip times, with age groups from V35 to V85+ in five-year increments and a prize for the first U20. Results and race photos are made available through the event results platform, and text finish notifications are sent to runners who provide a mobile number. The nearest train stations are Knutsford (2.6 miles) and Wilmslow (8 miles). An event road re-opening policy requires roads to be re-opened after 1 hour 30 minutes; runners beyond that time will be guided to the finish. The official race charity is Young Minds.
