Event Overview
The Band on the Run 5K is a running event hosted by the Coronado High School Band. It takes place in El Paso, Texas, on May 9, 2026. The event includes a live 5K race and a Mini K fun run, as well as corresponding virtual options for both distances.
Location and Details
The live event starts and finishes at the Coronado High School Baseball Field parking lot. Participants can pick up their race packets through a drive-through service at the Coronado High School Fine Arts building parking lot on the Friday before the race. Packet pick-up is also available on race day, but t-shirts are not guaranteed for late arrivals.
Registration and Fees
Registration fees are $25 for participants aged 18 and over, and $15 for those under 18. A team pricing discount is available: teams of 10 or more receive a $3 discount per member. To be guaranteed a t-shirt, registration must be completed by May 4, 2026. General registration closes on May 8, 2026.
Awards and Additional Information
Age group awards are presented for the live event across multiple categories. Registrants have the option to support a specific Coronado High School Band student by entering their name during registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
