Balmorhea Family 1 Mile & 5K Race
The Balmorhea Family 1 Mile & 5K Race is scheduled for 05/31/2026 at Balmorhea City Park in Balmorhea, TX 79718, United States. The event offers two distances:

Each distance is open to participants who wish to run or walk. The event is open to all ages starting at 3 years. Strollers are permitted and pets are not allowed. The 5K is a timed race with age group awards.
Registration for each race requires a fee of $10. Registration windows differ by race: the 5K registration opens 03/31/2026 and closes 05/25/2026, while the 1 Mile registration opens 04/02/2026 and closes 05/24/2026. Same day registration may be available but is not guaranteed.
Water stations will be provided along the course. Event proceeds will support a school in Chad, Africa, including efforts to build new classrooms. Donations are accepted separately from entry fees.
