About the race
The 23rd Balaton Marathon and Half Marathon takes place over the weekend of 14–15 November 2026 in Siófok. The event is organised by BSI Sport and stages races along the Lake Balaton shore, with Petőfi sétány in Siófok named as a key location.
Multiple competition formats are offered, including single-day and two-day options, individual and pair entries, and staged marathon formats. Distances available include shorter runs and full marathon variations, allowing participants to choose from several race layouts.

- Half marathon individual and pairs
- Quarter marathon (negyedmaraton)
- Sixth marathon (hatodmaraton)
- Marathon in one day with 3 stages
- Marathon over 2 days with 2 or 3 stages
- Two-day half marathon in 2 stages
