Event overview

The Baker Lake Classic is a point-to-point trail run held October 5, 2025, at Baker Lake near Concrete, Washington. The event distance is 25k (15.6 miles). Entry fee and shirt prices are published; registration closes October 3. Race registration includes transportation to the race start, aid stations on the course, awards, and post-race food and beverages.

Course and logistics

The course runs along the east side of Baker Lake in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, beginning on Baker Lake Trail #606 and continuing primarily on Baker Lake Trail #610 before finishing on Baker Dam Road at the Upper Baker Dam. The route crosses the Baker River suspension bridge, passes small creeks, slippery and mossy footbridges, and includes a log crossing with a cable at Anderson Creek. The course has about 3,400 feet of elevation change and the trail surface is single-track with rolling rises and descents.

Aid is limited due to remoteness: two trail aid stations provide water only (around mile 5 and mile 10.5); the start and finish areas offer additional refreshments and facilities. Runners may leave drop bags at the start to be transported to the finish. Transportation to the start is by bus from Kulshan Campground; participants parking at the north trailhead need a forest service pass and must arrange return transport to their vehicles. Kulshan Campground offers free camping for participants with basic amenities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
