Baker Lake Classic 25k

Baker Lake Classic 25k is a point to point trail event near Concrete, Washington, taking place on October 4, 2026. The route follows the eastern shoreline of Baker Lake from the north end to the south end and offers intermittent views of Mt. Baker.

The trail passes through stands of old growth trees draped in lichen and moss and enters a stand of Douglas fir that regrew after a Mt. Baker eruption and forest fire in 1843. Burned cedar snags remain visible along parts of the route. Wildflowers and understory plants observed along the trail include western trillium, twinflower, foamflower, coralroot and twisted stalk.

Logistics note: because the course is point to point, runners are transported by bus from the finish area to the start. Participants should allow time for transportation arrangements at the finish area.

Location details list Kulshan Campground and the town of Concrete, WA. Registration for the event closes on October 3, 2026. The event is described as occurring in a fall setting along a lakeside trail. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
