The Badische Meile is a traditional fun run held annually in Karlsruhe, covering a unique distance of 8.88889 kilometers. Established in 1990 to celebrate the city's 275th anniversary, this event attracts over 6,000 participants each year. The run is designed to be enjoyable and serves as a warm-up for the following day's Baden Marathon.
The course starts in Hermann-Veit-Straße and finishes at the Carl-Kaufmann-Stadion, featuring a scenic route through the city.
