BACtober Fest 5K : Bow, NH
The BACtober Fest 5K is the sixth annual 5K road race held at Hanson Park, 35 Albin Road in Bow, New Hampshire. The event includes adult and youth 5K races and a separate kids race called the Kids Gosling Gallop for children eight and under.
Race options include:
- 5K for adults
- 5K for youth (12 and under)
- Kids Gosling Gallop for children 8 and under
Registration details list an opening date of 2026-08-04 and a closing date of 2026-09-26. Regular registration fees are shown as Adults $40 and Youth $30, with higher fees on the day of the event; adults registered by 2026-09-19 receive a BACtoberfest T-shirt, and youth registrants by that date also receive a T-shirt. The Kids Gosling Gallop fee is $10 and includes a youth-size cotton T-shirt and access to the post-race celebration.
A post-race celebration will be held at Gergler Field and features BBQ, cornhole, music, a beer tent, fireworks, food, non-alcoholic beverages, and planned activities for children. Awards are given to the top overall female and male and to the top three in each age group for female and male competitors. Age categories include 7 and under; 8-9; 10-11; 12-13; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 plus.
Bib pickup is available at Hanson Park the day before and on race day. The event is organized by Bow Athletic Club, a non-profit that raises money and runs youth sports programs; all board members are volunteers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
