BACK THE BLUE 5K/10K Fun Run/Walk
This community event takes place on August 22, 2026, at Veterans Memorial Park (200 Acre Park), 301 N Minnesota St, Beeville, TX 78102. It is held in remembrance and intends to bring together runners, walkers, family, friends, and community members.
Distances offered:
- 5K (3.1 miles), registration fee $30
- 10K (6.2 miles), registration fee $40
Registration opens May 7, 2026 and closes August 22, 2026. The first 100 registered participants are guaranteed an event shirt and a finisher medal. Shirt size selection closes July 24, 2026; sizes cannot be guaranteed after that date. Any remaining shirts will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. As of July 9, 2026, there were approximately 40 guaranteed shirt and medal spots remaining.
A portion of event proceeds will be donated to the Beeville Police Association Scholarship Fund. Sponsorship opportunities are available to support the event and the scholarship fund. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
