Back Pew Brewing Co 5K Beer Run
The Back Pew Brewing Co 5K Beer Run is an out-and-back race hosted in Porter, Texas, just north of Houston. This event serves as the 12th stop in the 2026 Texas 5k 6-Pack Beer Challenge. The course is flat, fast, and shaded, taking participants through rural neighborhood roads. It begins and ends at the brewery, with one water station located along the route that runners pass twice.

The race is open to a variety of participants, as the course is walker-friendly and strollers are welcome. The event includes chip timing for competitive results, and free race photos are provided online following the completion of the run. Participants receive a performance fabric T-shirt and a custom finisher glass.
Following the race, the brewery hosts a gathering in the beer garden where participants can use their souvenir glass for four 8-oz. tastings of various brews. Food trucks are also on-site for those wishing to purchase food. Competitive awards are presented to the top overall male and female winners, masters, and the top three finishers in several age categories starting from 19 and under up to 80 and over. A random drawing for additional prizes takes place after the awards ceremony.
