AZ SUNRISE SERIES - Freestone Park
AZ SUNRISE SERIES - Freestone Park is the fourth leg of the 13th Annual Arizona Sunrise Series, scheduled for June 27, 2026, at Freestone District Park in Gilbert, Arizona. The in-person event is limited to 700 participants and features a 5K course. A virtual run option is offered with medal and apparel shipping for U.S. addresses only; virtual participants receive the event-specific medal attachment and instructions for submitting times.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Road Runner Sports in Tempe and at the event location on race day. Race services include chip timing with real time results and event photos, extra water stations along the course, and a pre- and post-race runner's brunch with snacks and beverages. Participants can choose event swag or opt out for a reduced fee.
The event offers male and female age group awards for the top three finishers in each age group, with categories from 8 and under through 80 and over. Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome; roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not permitted on the run or walk courses. Walkers and leashed pets are allowed.
