The fourth leg of the 13th Annual Arizona Sunrise Series takes place at Freestone Park in Gilbert, AZ on June 27, 2026. The event is part of a seven-race series that uses a point system to rank participants across multiple events.
Participants receive a custom series medal with additions for each series event completed and a choice of custom event apparel: Dri-Fit Tech T-shirt, racerback tank top, or sleeveless shirt. Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in age-group categories (excluding virtual runners), with age groups ranging from 8 & Under through 80 & Over.
The race is chip timed, with real-time results and photos provided by StartLine Racing. The course is set and marked by StartLine Racing and follows a dedicated running-trail system with mixed surfaces including grass, crushed gravel, asphalt, and concrete; the trail system remains open to other users during the event. Because the event uses a common start and finish area, there is no bag check.
The event is wheelchair, stroller, and leashed-pet friendly; all wheelchairs, strollers, and leashed pets are required to start at the back of the start-line coral. Points are awarded for each series event, with extra points based on age group and overall finish; the top 100 point earners and participants who complete at least four of the seven series races are entered in the Arizona Sunrise Series prize drawing, which includes multiple prizes and three $500 gift cards.
