Memorial Fun Run/Walk in Fort Benton

This memorial fun run and walk takes place in Fort Benton as part of the town's Annual Summer Celebration. The event offers timed races at three distances and uses a common start and finish location for the shorter courses. A portion of event proceeds is donated to the Chouteau County Cancer Support Group. Each finisher receives a medal and prizes are awarded for male and female winners in each age group and race division.

Distances

• 1 Mile walk/run, begins and ends at The Lewis and Clark Statue
• 5K walk/run, begins and ends at The Lewis and Clark Statue
• 10K run, same start and finish line, course includes paved and gravel roads and hills

Registration opens May 15, 2026 and closes June 16, 2026. Registration fees are listed by race: $35 for the 1 Mile, $40 for the 5K and $50 for the 10K. Bib and packet pickup is available the day before the race near the Chouteau County Library, between the library and the bank. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
