Auchterarder Running Festival 2026
Auchterarder Running Festival takes place over a weekend in Auchterarder on 12 and 13 September 2026. The event programme includes multiple races that start and finish at The Community School of Auchterarder, New School Lane, PH3 1BL. Routes for the 10K and Half Marathon have been accurately measured by Scottish Athletics and tour the town and surrounding countryside.
Distances and events
- Junior Fun Run approx 1 km off road, ages 4 to 15
- 10K measured by Scottish Athletics, route around town and countryside
- Half Marathon measured by Scottish Athletics, route around town and countryside
- Double Dare entry for both the 10K and Half Marathon with combined awards
Entry and event information are set in the race terms. There are no entries on the day and entry fees are non refundable once processed. Runners can transfer their entry to another person free of charge up until two weeks before the event. The organisers do not operate deferments and they recommend purchasing event insurance.
On course rules and facilities include a ban on headphones except bone conduction types, unsecured baggage storage at registration, toilets at the registration and start finish area, ample parking in and around town, and water stations provided during the races. Cut off times are 1 hour 45 minutes for the 10K and 3 hours 30 minutes for the Half Marathon. Finishers receive technical T shirts and bespoke medals; Double Dare finishers receive additional mementos.
