Auchterarder Running Festival 2026
Auchterarder Running Festival takes place in Auchterarder on 12 and 13 September 2026 and includes multiple events for different age groups. The festival is based at The Community School of Auchterarder, New School Lane, PH3 1BL, where races start and finish and where runners must register in person to collect race numbers and timing chips. ID checks are carried out and runners should not swap numbers.
Race options include:
- Junior Fun Run, approx. 1 km, off road mostly on grass.
- 10K event.
- Half marathon event.
- Double Dare combining the 10K and the half marathon.
Age rules and timing cutoffs are published for each event. The 10K has a cut off of 1 hour 45 minutes. The half marathon has a cut off of 3 hours 30 minutes. Routes have been accurately measured by Scottish Athletics and will be shared with entrants before the event. Water stations are provided on course thanks to Highland Spring. Official results will be available on race day by text where provided and online via the event timing provider.
Entry terms state there are no entries on the day, entry fees are non refundable after processing, and there is no deferment system. Transfers to another runner are permitted free of charge up to two weeks before the race via an entry change request. Headphones are not allowed except bone conduction types. Unsecured baggage storage is available at registration and the organisers accept no responsibility for stored items. A race safety briefing will be emailed to entrants the week before the event.
