Auchterarder Running FESTIVAL 2026
Auchterarder Running Festival takes place over a weekend in Auchterarder and includes several organised races for different ages and distances. Events start and finish at The Community School of Auchterarder, New School Lane, PH3 1BL, and the measured routes tour the town and surrounding countryside.
- Junior Fun Run : approx 1 km, ages 4 to 15, free entry
- 10K : runners aged 16 and over
- Half Marathon : runners aged 17 and over
- Double Dare : entry for both the 10K and Half Marathon, runners aged 17 and over
Entries are processed in advance; there will be no entries on the day and all entry fees are non-refundable. Runners may transfer their entry to another person free of charge up to two weeks before the event. Event insurance is offered during sign-up. In the event of cancellation due to factors outside the organisers' control, fees cannot be refunded but entries will be carried forward to a rescheduled date where possible.
All runners must register in person to collect race numbers and timing chips; ID checks will be carried out. Race routes have been accurately measured by Scottish Athletics. Water stations are provided on course by Highland Spring. Cut-offs apply: 1 hour 45 minutes for the 10K and 3 hours 30 minutes for the Half Marathon.
Headphones are not allowed on the course except bone conduction types. Unsecured baggage storage will be available at registration and the organisers accept no responsibility for stored items. Runners receive technical T-shirts and bespoke medals; Double Dare finishers receive additional commemorative items. Official results are provided on the day and online.
