ATW Run Fest at Lee Valley

The ATW Run Fest takes place at the Lee Valley White Water Centre, a venue known for hosting events during the 2012 Olympics. Located in Waltham Cross, the event offers participants the chance to run through the scenery of Hertfordshire's regional park.

The event features two main distances:

  • 10K
  • Half Marathon

The course is designed to be flat, fast, and entirely traffic-free. It consists of a well-marked route with marshals positioned along the way to provide support. Participants pass through the landscapes surrounding the White Water Centre, starting and finishing at the iconic Olympic site.

Hydration is provided through water stations located at intervals along the route. Upon reaching the finish line, runners receive a custom-designed medal along with a selection of snacks and refreshments.

The event is organized by Active Training World and partners with charities such as Alzheimer's Research UK and Willow. For those traveling by public transport, Waltham Cross station is a short walk from the venue. For those driving, parking is available at the Lee Valley Regional Park for a small fee, as there is no parking directly at the White Water Centre.

Participants must be at least 15 years old for the 10K and 17 years old for the Half Marathon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
