Athlone AC Half Marathon & 10k - 20 September 2026

Athlone Athletics Club stages the fourth running of its Half Marathon and 10k on Sunday 20 September 2026 at the TUS Athlone Campus running track. The course is an out-and-back route that starts and finishes on the campus track and includes sections of the Athlone-Mullingar Greenway.

A race permit has been approved, certificate number 26/66. Entry fees included posting of bib numbers and race tops; half marathon entries received a half-zip top and 10k entries received a T-shirt. Race medals are presented to all finishers on race day. Light refreshments are provided after the race in the Student's Union Hub.

Online ticket sales were available between 14 February 2026 and 23 August 2026. Ticket types listed in the event information included a half marathon option with a half-zip plus postage and a 10k option with a T-shirt plus postage.
