Athlone AC Half Marathon & 10k 2026
Athlone Athletics Club will stage the fourth edition of its road running event on Sunday 20 September 2026. The event has an approved permit, certificate number 26/66. The courses are out-and-back routes that start and finish on the TUS Athlone Campus running track and include a section along the Athlone-Mullingar Greenway.
The event features two distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10k
Entry fees included posting of bib numbers and race apparel. Half marathon entries included a half-zip top; 10k entries included a T-shirt. Race medals will be presented to all finishers on race day. Light refreshments will be available after the race in the Student's Union Hub.
Ticket information published for the event showed online sales open between 14 February 2026 and 23 August 2026. Listed ticket types included a half marathon option with a half-zip plus postage and a 10k option with a T-shirt plus postage; those ticket types were shown as sold out in the listing.
