Event Overview

The Athlone AC Half Marathon and 10k is the fourth edition of this running event. It takes place on Sunday, 20 September 2026. Both races start at 10:00.

The route is an out-and-back course that begins and finishes on the TUS Athlone Campus running track. The course includes a section on the Athlone-Mullingar Greenway.

Event Details

Half Marathon - entry includes a half zip top.
10k - entry includes a T-shirt.

The entry fee for both distances covers the posting of the bib number and the race top. All finishers receive a medal on race day. After the race, light refreshments are available in the Student's Union Hub.
