Athlone AC stages its 4th Half Marathon and 10k on 20 September 2026, with an out and back route from the TUS Athlone Campus track along the Athlone-Mullingar Greenway. Entries include a race top, a finisher medal and post race refreshments.

Athlone AC Half Marathon & 10k 2026

Athlone Athletics Club presents the fourth staging of its Half Marathon and 10k on Sunday 20 September 2026. The event has an approved permit, cert.no 26/66.

The course is an out and back route that starts and finishes on the TUS Athlone Campus running track and takes in the Athlone-Mullingar Greenway. Race medals are awarded to all finishers on race day. Light refreshments will be provided after the race in the Student's Union Hub.

Entry fees include posting of bib numbers and race tops. Half marathon entries receive a half zip top and 10k entries receive a T shirt. Online ticket sales were available from 14 February 2026 to 23 August 2026. Listed ticket prices are €50 for the Half Marathon with half zip plus postage and €40 for the 10k with T shirt plus postage.
