ASYMCA Village People 5K
The ASYMCA Village People 5K takes place on June 6, 2026, in Salado, Texas. The event is hosted by Barrow Brewing Company at 108 Royal Street and benefits the Armed Services YMCA. The route starts and ends at the brewery and passes through historic downtown Salado. The 5K is walker and dog friendly; because the course includes some steep steps, strollers are not recommended. Registrants receive a t-shirt and a commemorative, stackable medal that interlocks with the other two medals from Barrow Brewing Company’s 2026 race series. Finish-line beverages include a pint or nonalcoholic options; identification is checked for alcohol service.
Packet pick up is available at the brewery on Friday night from 5 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday beginning at 5 a.m. Same-day registration, if the event is not sold out, also begins at 5 a.m. To be guaranteed a t-shirt, registrations completed by May 23, 2026 are listed as eligible.
