Asia Intercontinental Marathon - Dubai, 2 February 2027
The Asia Intercontinental Marathon is the Asian leg of the 7 Marathons in 7 Days on 7 Continents - THE WORLD MARATHON CHALLENGE 2026. The event takes place at Expo City Dubai and uses multiple laps around the site, including sections that pass by the Al Wasl Dome and its evening and night lights.
Race formats:
- 42.2 km marathon
- 21.1 km half marathon
One hundred athletes are listed to join runners from around the world for the Dubai leg. More than 60 international athletes are expected to arrive from Australia at Al Maktoum International Airport and will be transported to the start area. Dubai-based runners will also take part and provide local support and camaraderie as participants complete their laps.
The marathon has an eight hour cut-off time. After completing the Dubai event, international athletes on the World Marathon Challenge will continue the series by travelling to the next location.
Included with entry are a certificate, medal, refreshments, timing and a race shirt. Registration closes on 02.02.2027 and cancellations or category changes are accepted up to 25.01.2027, subject to availability and the event's refund policy.
