Arrow Valley - Sprint Distance Triathlon 5 July 2026
The Worcester Triathlon Club stages a sprint triathlon at Arrow Valley Visitor Centre, Redditch, on 5 July 2026. The event is limited to 90 places and is set around Arrow Valley Lake and surrounding lanes and footpaths.
The course comprises:
- 800 m swim in Arrow Valley Lake, which holds a certified pass excellent status under the EC Bathing Water Directive (2006/7/EC).
- 20 km bike on scenic Worcestershire lanes with a mix of undulating, twisting and some flat fast sections.
- 5 km run along predominantly flat footpaths around the lake with spectator vantage points near the finish.
Registration, transition and the finish area are located in the field adjacent to the main car park, close to the café and bar. The central layout provides accessible viewing for spectators.
A booking fee applies: 4% per sign-up with a minimum charge of 50p. Pricing is tiered across several entry windows, starting at £49 for the earliest entries and rising to £99 in the final entry window. A British Triathlon Race Pass is required for non Home Nation members; costs are £2 plus £0.08 service charge for those aged 24 and under, and £8 plus £0.32 service charge otherwise.
