ARR Open Mile
ARR Open Mile is an evening track event held at Shadow Mountain High School on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The program features a standard open mile and a Predict Your Time mile.

Attendees register on the track and sign a waiver while providing an estimated mile time to help place them into time-based heats. Multiple heats are used for each event and participants may run more than one heat. Heats are organized so runners compete with others in a similar estimated pace range, for example under 6:30 minutes, 6:30 to 7:30 minutes, and greater than 7:30 minutes.
In the Predict Your Time mile participants state a finish time before running and may not use watches; the winner is the person whose actual finish time is closest to their prediction. All recorded mile times will be posted on the event results page. The event listing notes that pizza is provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
