Arny Johnson 5k - 10 mile
The 40th annual Arny Johnson run and walk takes place in Loves Park, Illinois, with the start and finish near the Zenith Park Way Trail Head (5451 Zenith Pkwy, Loves Park, IL 61111). Routes follow the Willow Creek Path and continue into Rock Cut State Park. A course map is provided by the organizers.

The 10 mile course includes three water stops: two passes near the Willow Creek Path dam and one near the park north entrance where the paved path crosses the road. Organizers note that the Willow Creek Path is narrow; strollers and pets are not permitted for safety and insurance reasons.
Early packet pickup is offered the day before at Fire Department Coffee in Rockford, and race day packet pickup is at the trail head. Race swag options will be available for selection at packet pickup. Age group awards are given across youth and adult brackets in single year and five year increments, with a short ceremony for the first place male and female finishers; other awards are collected at the awards table and will not be mailed.
