The Armidale Running Festival is a weekend event held in Civic Park, 75 Faulkner Street, Armidale NSW 2350. The festival runs across the weekend of March 14-15, 2026, with bib collection available on March 13 and March 14 at New England Toyota Armidale. The festival area will include live music, local food, community stalls and a large market, plus kids' activities, play areas and picnic zones. All runs start and finish at Civic Park.
Races, prizes and registration
The running program includes these distances:
- 1 km Kids Fun Run (free; for children in year 3 and below only)
- 3 km race
- 5 km race
- 10 km race
- Half marathon
Prize money is offered for the Half Marathon and the 10 km, with equal amounts for male and female competitors. Half marathon prizes: 1st $750, 2nd $500, 3rd $250. 10 km prizes: 1st $500, 2nd $250, 3rd $100.
